I can't believe October has come & gone! November is here, Thanksgiving is almost here, and I have done a poor job at blogging. Even my husband noticed! We have alot to update on, I feel so un-accomplished! Haha. I love this time of year & I am looking forward to all of the Holiday get-togethers! A new post will be coming soon!

Halloweeeeeeen is Coming!

I absolutely LOVE the fall time...I just felt the need to let that out! We had such a great weekend, enjoying conference, enjoying family & friends, enjoying the fall leaves & waking up to trickling rain & then later on the sun shining through! Also, my mom's amazing apple cake & yummy sauce, rounds of dominoes over & over again. I could go on & on. Anyways, this little post is just to say I'm keeping up on blogging, I'm not, but I will catch up on the past few months & everything we've been up to! Not today, maybe tomorrow...I'll be back!

Happy 3 Months!

So it's been 3 months since May 8th! We are beside ourselves at how fast time really does fly! We have been in Florida since May 19th and our time here is near it's end. To celebrate our special day, that we will never forget, we went to Delray Beach and stayed a night at the Marriot, overlooking the beach & ocean. We checked in and fell in love with this hotel immediately, atleast I know I did. Dane knew I would love it, he knows that I can become obsessive with decor! Haha. We made our way to the beach and it couldn't have been more perfect! The sun was shining, blue skies, light breeze, showers to wash the salt water off, and big waves to play in! Finally around 7:30pm we decided it was time to get cleaned up to meet our cute couple friends for sushi & ice cream at Lemongrass! The whole crew decided to join us on this little overnight-er and it was so much fun to finally get out and have some fun! Dane & I were treated like King & Queen at this hotel. They assumed it was our one-year anniversary and treated us with a suite, breakfast for free, and two spa certificates. What a nice surprise! The next day we each received a facial & a massage! Heavenly! The facial was our favorites...even Dane's! It was such a fun little get-a-way and none of us wanted to leave. Thankyou so much honey buns...you sure do know how to make me a happy little wife! I love my husband...check out our memories at Delray Beach!

Dane & I surely had a great time in Delray, enjoying the beach, relaxation, the fun, the hotel, eachother, and company! We've had such a fun time in Florida. Some things we won't miss very much are: husbandless/wifeless days, 10:00 dinners, the humidity, not so cute apartment, the least amount of cooking supplies, & same daily routines over & over. We are excited to finally use all our wedding gifts! Well I am very blessed to have married such a hard worker, who never complains, & who loves providing & loving! I hope that I'm doing ok living up to his ways!
Dane is the butter to my bread & the breath to my life {Thankyou Julie & Julia, Haha} Anyways, this was our first living quarters being married...we will miss the memories we had time to make! Can't wait to be with friends & family! Woo hoo!

4th of July Fun...

I was hoping & praying that this year's 4th of July celebration would be just as fun as it would at home in Utah...I LOVE bbq's, fireworks, parades, watermelon, sparklers, ice cream treats, & being with friends & family! It was a little hard to make it as much fun, but boy we had a blast of a weekend! We got last minute baseball tickets to the Marlins & The Dolphin Stadium, missed the game, but made it just in time for some fireworks & KC & The Sunshine Band, haha! Hilarious. They are totally stuck in the 70's with their lovely wardrobe & I was so happy to hear all their popular songs, not knowing they were the ones who sang them! Awesome. I love that kind of music, thanks to my parents! On sunday we got together with the couples & had ourselves a cute little bbq by the bridge at our apartments. The boys played some football while us gals took pictures, talked & got everything ready...Later, we played some sunday games at Puck & Jess' where we also devoured some homemade red velvet cake! YUM! Cutest decorated cake too...Thanks Jess! Enjoy a few pictures of our fun days on the 4th &5th of JULY...

Just thought I would post a couple of my favorite pictures, & the ones I have, from mine & Dane's big day! It was THE best experience of my life. From the planning, major decision-making, overwhelming moments, breakdowns, happiness, stressfulness, real-ness that it was really happening, everything falling into place, & being sealed in the Salt Lake Temple! Thanks to my awesome family, they made it so much fun, memorable, happy & so worth it! I want to do it all over again, I really do, I loved every minute of it! Life these Days...

Well, Well, Well...Dane & I are a newly married couple, who love eachother so very much, & are loving every minute of being together...JUST THE TWO OF US! In Florida! Dane is selling for Pinnacle Security & is doing so well, I am just a very proud wifey! He says his favorite thing by the end of his long, hardworking day is to come home to me, cooking in my cute little "baker's dozen" apron with dinner set on the table for two, maybe a candle, & never can I forget Dane's Dew...The time we do have time to spend together throughout the week is what we look forward to most & we have loved every minute of this little adventure of ours...even though I get a little tired of looking for the things to do, such as laundry, dishes, or cleaning...you can call me an old fashion house wife! Thankfully, the other wives are in the same boat as me & we can easily keep eachother company by playing some good ol' games! Oprah & the food network (& collecting new recipes, Yes, I do cook...surprisingly I kinda like it!) have also kept me busy as well. Dane & I had the opportunity to speak in church 2 weeks ago & it was a great experience! Dane received a calling as a YM advisor, so exciting, he will do a fabulous job! As much as we miss our family & friends at home in Utah, we could not be happier! We are so blessed in so many ways...& that is the conclusion of my very own blog post...Thanks to my sister Steph for putting the other blog things together for me!

The Nelsons...

Dane & I were married May 8, 2009 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was the BEST day of our lives! We met back in Jr. High, and started dating when he got home from his mission almost 2 years ago. We have so much fun together and are loving the married life! We are living in Florida for the Summer while Dane sells security systems for Pinnacle. So for now, we are just having fun being married and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us!
